Our cedar soap dish extends the life of your favorite Whispering Willow bar soap.  Handcrafted in the US of 100% natural cedar wood, this soap dish allows water to drain away from the soap, preventing it from getting soft and allowing it to dry between uses.  

Dimensions: 2.75” x 4”

As a note, this dish is untreated cedar.  Cedarwood contains natural elements called tannins which give it its rich color.  When first using the soap dish, these tannins may leech out from the wood leaving a reddish-brown residue behind which should be easily rinsed away.  Over time, this leeching will cease.  Additionally, cedar has natural wood grain that may sometimes appear as a line down the dish.  This is most often not a crack - simply a characteristic of the wood.

I really love my soap dishes. I bought two and they are great so far! I like their color and how they make my sink look so elegant. As mentioned in the product information, at first it leaves a little color when wet, but it began to stop doing that. Overall, this is a great quality soap dish!
