It is generally understood that teachers in the United States have incredibly challenging jobs. They work long hours with little resources doing their best to teach children. And they are doing all that for very little pay. There is a fairly famous TikTok that sums it up beautifully.
They should be rewarded immensely for all they do. They are educating the next generation after all and helping those young minds grow into the adults they will become.
In honor of their dedication, in the US we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week the first full week of May. Join us in thanking the teachers. Give them a small gift, a card, a smile, or just take a moment to stop by a classroom and tell them what a difference they are making in your child's life. 🙏
If you'd like to purchase a small gift, we have a few suggestions:
Our Self-Care Gift Box has a bar of soap, lip balm, salve, and soap dish all boxed up and ready to go. It makes an adorable, easy gift and will hopefully remind teachers to take a few moments for self-care when they can.
We imagine that teachers understand the importance of handwashing better than most. 😊 Our hand soap comes in a frosted glass bottle, is made with organic oils and essential oils and is wonderfully moisturizing. Tuck it into a small gift bag & you have the perfect Teacher gift.
Last (but definitely not least), our Lavender Eye Pillows. These may be small, but they pack a powerful punch. You can warm them in the microwave or cool them in the freezer. They can be placed over the eyes, or to soothe muscles when needed.
Hopefully we've given you a few ideas of gifts for teachers. Regardless of what you choose, please do take a moment to thank the teachers in your lives during Teacher Appreciation Week (and every opportunity you have!).
